Your Council

Lanchester Parish Council is made up of 15 members elected every four years by the people of Lanchester. The Full Council meets every month on the second Tuesday at 7.00pm at Lynwood House, Durham Road, Lanchester.

The council also has three sub-committees, Planning, Finance and General Purposes and Complaints. The Council may also form working groups to co-ordinate certain projects or tasks.

 

Lanchester Parish Council seeks to work in partnership with all our parish organisations and undertakes joint projects such as the development of the bike track, the Locality Map, the Banner project, the Lanchester Neighbourhood Plan and organising Beacon events.

The present Council was elected in May 2021.
